About me

 Hi, I'm Reena

20121_edited.jpg

I became a celebrant after being asked to give a reading at my sister's celebrant-led wedding. It was a beautiful day that was so in tune with my sister and her husband. Our Indian heritage and her husband's Welsh background were perfectly woven into the day, which was so special and unique. I loved the buzz of it, and had a light-bulb moment there and then.

I took an accredited course with established training provider Civil Ceremonies, and gained a Level 3 Diploma in Wedding and Naming Ceremonies. I learned so much during the training, and started to hone in on my craft from the get go.

Drawing on my experience as a private city guide in Rome where I lived for many years, I knew that being a celebrant was the perfect career path for me. I love people, I love telling stories, I love literature, art, culture and language, and I love a celebration!

My time as a guide taught me how to always be one step ahead in planning and organising whilst inspiring and guiding clients according to their preferences and tastes.

Creating ceremonies is not so different. As your celebrant I'll be with you every step of the way and I am dedicated to making your day authentic, unique and meaningful to you.

Feel free to get in touch for an informal chat. I am so looking forward to creating your perfect ceremony!

Wedding Ceremony Testimonial

Reena has all the qualities you would want from a celebrant!

Thoughtful, funny, passionate and captivating, Reena is keen to involve everyone in the ceremony. She puts in a lot of research and pitches her words perfectly to a rapt audience. Reena showed sensitivity when needed and humour when appropriate. She managed the ceremony perfectly and it went without a hitch. We had the best day and that was in large part down to Reena. I thoroughly recommend her and my mum does too!
